April Charitable Cause - Cancer Research UK.

Some of My frequent readers will be aware that outside of the BDSM/Fetish world; I am a keen philanthropist who regularly raises funds for various charities. For the last few months; My charity of choice has been Rotherham Hospice, in memory of My late Grandfather.

While that campaign is still on-going via My Just Giving page (https://www.justgiving.com/Mistress-Cristal/), I am also separately raising funds for Cancer Research UK.

Last night, I lost another family member to cancer. That brings it to a total of 4 family members who have fought and lost a battle to the disease -  Breast Cancer, Pancreatic Cancer, Lung Cancer and finally Bone Cancer. 

Cancer is a terrible disease not just for the sufferer but for loved ones. It doesn't care who it affects. It is not selective. And it robs around 162,000 UK people of loved ones every year. That's a lot of deaths - and even more broken hearts.

I would like to see a day where cancer is completely wiped out, and we aren't forced to watch our loved ones slowly disappear in a painful, agonising death. Cancer is a monster and it needs to be completely eradicated.

So I invite you to consider making a donation of any amount to Cancer Research via My Go Fund Me link. Every penny you give will be donated to Cancer Research UK and I will be posting regular updates on the amounts raised, each month. This particular campaign will be open until October, so please give what you can - in memory of a loved one YOU have lost to cancer and because you too want wipe out cancer for good.

Please Support My Current Fundraising Campaign.

As some of you will be aware; back in August I lost My beloved Grandfather after a short battle with terminal lung-cancer. In his last few days he was cared for by Rotherham Hospice, who provided him with the most wonderful and dignified end of life care we could have asked for. As a result; My Grandfather was able to have a peaceful death, passing away in his sleep, with his dignity and pride intact.

If My Grandfather were still here; he would be only too pleased to make a donation to Rotherham Hospice to thank them for how they looked after him. Sadly, he is not - so I am doing it on his behalf, so that his memory can live on in a gift of thanks to the amazing staff who went above and beyond to ensure My Grandfather was well cared for in his last few days.

My fundraising goal is £1000 - which is enough to care for a terminally ill person for 2 days. Believe it or not; it costs £500 per day to care for a terminally ill person. Rotherham Hospice rely heavily on donations to ensure they can continue to give that dignified end of life care.

Please do consider making a donation to this very important cause; be it because you support such a cause or because you yourself have had a relative spend their last days in a hospice, and would like to remember them in this way.

RAISING FUNDS FOR CANCER RESEARCH UK.

Some of you will be aware that I am a keen philanthropist and will often raise money for many important causes.

From today; every month I will name a charity I am supporting, and any tributes made via My Go Fund me link will be sent to that charity.

This month, I am raising funds for Cancer Research UK.  Cancer Research raise funds to find a cure for ALL types of cancer.

Remember, cancer is not selective and it doesn't care who it affects. Each year, approximately 7.6 million die from cancer. We need to stop this NOW! Let's kick cancer's ass - for good!

TRIBUTE AND HELP RAISE FUNDS FOR CANCER RESEARCH UK!

Mistress is doing Her bit for charity!

I have some news for you all!

Some of you will be aware that I am a keen philanthropist and in the last few days, I have made some important decisions.

On 22nd September this year, I will have My very last cigarette. That's right, I am giving up smoking (yes I smoke, but not indoors, which is why you don't see Me smoke on cam.).

Not only am I giving up smoking, but I plan to be sponsored for this, and will be creating a blog specially dedicated for this effort, with photographs showing My progress.

The money I raise from this will be going to a charity of My choice - in this case being Michael's Dream Foundation - which raises funds to help sick children around the world.

Secondly, and this is another reason why I have made the decision to give up smoking; I intend to take part in the Race For Life, to raise money for Cancer Research UK. So after I've quit the cigs, hard training will begin to ensure My fitness levels are up to speed, ready for Me to take part in My first 5K run. Should I be successful (and I will be), the next event will be the 10K run again, raising funds for Cancer Research.

I have chosen some running so I may begin My training, which are on My wishlist. Who wants to help Me to do this by purchasing these shoes for Me?

So, boys and girls - get behind Me, support Me and lets make a difference to children and for those affected by cancer. This is something VERY important to Me and I hope it will be important to you too!!

I make no secret of the fact that I am a keen philanthropist and some of you will know that in My vanilla life, I work closely with various children's charities. In fact the needs of children is something very close to My heart and I have made it My mission that throughout My life, I will help as many children as I can.

So, with that in mind, for the next month, any tributes you send via paypal will be donated to a children's charity of My choice. At the end of the month, I will reveal the amount given.

In My vanilla life, I am on the committee for a relatively new non-profit organisation, aimed at improving children's health care around the world.  I am very proud to be a part of this organisation as children's issues is something I hold very close to My heart. At the moment they are holding a fundraising campaign, with the aim of helping a group of children in the United States.

As a result, any tributes I receive via paypal will automatically be donated to this cause to help them with their current campaign.

Unfortunately, I am not at liberty to disclose the name of the organisation, because I wish to protect My identity. But rest assured, if you send any tribute this way, the sick children they are trying to help will certainly benefit!
