Following the devastating fire at the Grenfell Tower, Kensington, London; an emergency fund has been set up by one of the charities I regularly support.
In the early hours of 14 June, fire broke out at Grenfell Tower, and quickly engulfed the whole building. 12 people lost their lives. This figure is expected to rise as a recovery operation gets underway. 78 people were taken to hospitals across London. 18 of those people remain in a critical condition.
The aim is to raise £10k, to help the children & families affected by the Grenfell Tower fire. Those families have lost everything - including their homes. It is hoped that this money will go some way into helping them to rebuild their lives, and provide toys, clothing and emotional comfort to their children.
Once all monies have been raised; they will be sent to local organisations in Kensington, to directly help the victims.
